• Small Business Week is the national recognition of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners for growing their businesses, creating jobs, driving innovation, and increasing America’s global competitiveness.
   
• Locally, Leon County Government partners with Florida A&M University’s Small Business Development Center, Florida State University, the City of Tallahassee, Leon County Schools and the Department of Management Services to recognize the achievements of local entrepreneurs and small business owners within the community.
   
• Events will include networking opportunities, learning workshops and a FREE Awards Luncheon (Thursday, May 21).
