The University has purchased an annual membership with Costco for business related purchases, effective May 1, 2018. There is no longer a need for departments to purchase their own membership.
Effective May 1st, Costco will no longer accept purchase orders (POs) issued by FSU as part of a new corporate policy. However, FSU faculty/staff may continue to shop for goods at Costco in compliance with purchasing guidelines using their FSU issued P-Card (Visa). When entering Costco, FSU employees should show their FSU ID to the greeter and indicate they are shopping on behalf of FSU. During check-out employees must show their FSU ID and someone will come and authorize purchases under the FSU membership account. Current blanket PO’s with an expiration after April 30, 2018 should be closed.
